Queen Elizabeth Hospital

Barbados

RRCF Images-8a.jpg

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) is the public, full-care hospital in Barbados. It provides over 90% of all hospital beds on the island and, by law, all services are free to any citizen.

Eligible Equipment
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital publishes, usually annually, an information document detailing equipment needs that it is unable to meet with its limited funding. This initiative is supported by strong policy and fulfillment guidelines. The Foundation will from time to time participate in this program.

Equipment Selection Process

In consultation with the appropriate Management Representatives of the QEH, the Trustees will determine specific equipment to be contributed. The equipment provided is to be acquired in Canada and delivered directly to the QEH. The final decision in the selection of equipment to be provided will be at the sole discretion of the Trustees.
